Neon Drift Circuit is all about the corners. Braking is almost beside the point; you learn to feather the drift and let the boost meter fill as you slide. Tilt steering is the default but the on-screen buttons feel more precise once you get used to them.
Tracks are short and built for replaying, and the ghost of your best run keeps you chasing better times. Car handling differs enough between vehicles that unlocking a new one actually changes how you drive.
The soundtrack does a lot of heavy lifting here, and the sense of speed is real without ever getting nauseating.
