Harvest Hollow: what to do in your first season
Harvest Hollow throws a lot of freedom at you immediately, and it's easy to drift through the first season without much to show for it. A loose plan helps.
Start by clearing just enough land to plant a manageable crop. Overplanting means you can't keep everything watered, and wilted crops are pure wasted days. Small and consistent beats sprawling and neglected.
Spend a little time each day talking to the townsfolk even when it feels unproductive. Those relationships unlock shops, recipes, and events that make later seasons much richer.
By the end of the first season you want a steady income loop and a couple of friendships started. Do that and the rest of the game opens up naturally.
