Hollow Lantern: reading the light before you move
Hollow Lantern rarely tells you what to do, and that's the point. Almost every puzzle solution is written into the environment if you slow down enough to notice it.
The one lesson that unlocked the whole game for us: watch where the light falls, not just where you can walk. Shadows and reflections are hints, and the murals on the walls often preview a mechanic before it appears.
We only got properly stuck once, near the mid-game bridge section. The answer was a light source we'd walked past twice, which is very on-brand for this game.
Don't rush it. This is a game to sit with, and it rewards patience far more than clever fingers.
